Every membership begins with a carefully selected pen pal based on your age, preferences, interests, and communication style.
We believe great friendships start with thoughtful introductions, not random pairings.
If your first match isn't the right fit, you can request a new one at any time as part of your membership.

Getting to know someone new shouldn't require sharing your home address with strangers.
Every exchange with your new pen pal will be processed by 121 Letters’ private mail-forwarding service, allowing you to build trust at your own pace while keeping your personal information protected.
Your membership includes forwarding for up to three letters per month with your active pen pal.
If you and your pen pal eventually decide to exchange addresses directly, that's completely your choice.
